Mit 25000 Zuschauern fand das diesjährige UNDP „Match Against Poverty" in Hamburg statt. Willi Lemke sprach stellvertretend für den Generalsekretär der Vereinten Nationen Ban Ki-moon anlässlich des Mega-Benefizspiels.
Das "Match Against Poverty" ist ein seit 2003 jährlich stattfindendes Fussball-Benefizspiel zu Gunsten der Opfer von humanitären Katastrophen. Das Entwicklungsprogramm der Vereinten Nationen (UNDP) organisiert das Spiel unter Mithilfe der UN-Botschafter Zinèdine Zidane und Ronaldo.
