This year the 22nd TAFISA World Congress takes place in Antalya, Turkey from 10 - 28 November 2011. The main theme this year is "Sport for All: Building Bridges".
The aim of the TAFISA World Congress is to promote ‘Sport for All' as a vehicle for social inclusion, preservation of traditions and heritage, health and well-being, as well as mutual understanding and respect across all nations. The congress will discuss the role of ‘Sport for All' in global political, cultural, economic, and social challenges. The gathering will also serve as a connecting tool between theory and practice in the field of ‘Sport for All'.
The congress addresses the following themes:

- Elite Sport and Sport for All
- The Private Sector and Sport for All
- Traditional and Modern Sports
- Sport Science and Practice
Wilfried Lemke, the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Sport for Development and Peace, is attending the congress.
