Before heading to Vancouver, to hold several meetings in course of the Olympic Winter Games 2010, Wilfried Lemke visited the UN-Headquarters in New York where he met with the UN-Secretary-General. The Special Adviser briefed Ban Ki-moon on his activities since their last meeting in October 2009, and they also discussed the UN family`s activities during the 2010 FIFA World Cup that will take place in South Africa.
